From what I remember at the rabbit shelter in Austin, you'll know pretty quickly if it's a match between the buns.

Sometimes they're really particular about who they pick, sometimes they aren't. You never really know. We had buns that would fall in love instantly and some that would keep apart for a while but then finally inch closer and closer together.

I'd love to know how they do the bonding process dance at your shelter. We did it by putting the buns in ex-pens next to each other at first (close enough that they could see / smell / touch each other through the bars), and then eventually into the same ex-pen, but never into a small cage together until we knew it was love. It's too hard to break up a fight when they're in a little cage.

Bonded bunnies are the cutest things ever. I hope he finds a mate really quick. :)
